I am very pleased to have been asked to represent Wollaston & Stourbridge Town Ward again in the forthcoming election. Together with fellow Councillors Nicolas Barlow and Malcolm Knowles I have been one of your Councillors since 2003 and have enjoyed helping people with their problems wherever possible.
During my eight years on the Council I have been Chairman of the Environment Committee for seven years and twice been Vice Chairman of the Stourbridge Area Committee. I am also a Governor of the Ridge Primary School.
My time on the Environment Committee has given me a great interest in recycling and I am very pleased with Dudley MBC’s record on this most important activity. We have maintained a weekly refuse collection and excellent fortnightly recycling and green waste collections.
