I have represented Amblecote for ten years and during that time have worked actively for all residents.
During these years I have been a cabinet member for Law and Property and Personnel.
I am on the Board of Mary Stevens Hospice, a governor of Amblecote Primary School and the chairman of Amblecote History Society.
But the greatest honour was given to me when I became Mayor of our Borough in 2009/10. This is an honour given to very few people and after meeting thousands of residents I realised how many of you, both young and old, work voluntarily to make our Borough a better place in which to live.I thank all of you.
